Naseerabad Commissioner Reviews Reconstruction of Flood-Damaged School

Naseerabad, Commissioner Naseerabad Division Tariq Qamar Baloch recently inspected ongoing reconstruction efforts at the Government Boys High Secondary School Taj Muhammad Lahri, which had been severely affected by flooding. The commissioner evaluated the progress on the school’s classrooms, laboratory, and IT room, emphasizing the need for comprehensive repairs and upgrades to ensure a safe learning environment.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during his visit, Commissioner Baloch received a detailed report on the condition of the school’s infrastructure, noting the dilapidated state of the roof and the weakening of main pillars. He instructed that the construction of a new roof and the reinforcement of pillars should be prioritized and completed promptly. Additionally, he called for the rapid installation of tuff tiles within the school premises.

Education Officer Farid Ahmed and other officials briefed the Commissioner on the current status of the repair work. Commissioner Baloch stressed that while physical reconstruction is crucial, equal attention must be given to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. He asserted that the education received by students at these institutions plays a critical role in shaping the future of the community, hence the importance of thorough and timely completion of the school’s renovation.
