National Assembly Leadership Denounces Terrorist Attack on Customs Officials in Dera Ismail Khan

Islamabad, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Mir Ghulam Mustafa Shah have vehemently condemned the recent attack on customs officials by unidentified terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan, which tragically resulted in the loss of seven lives, including five customs officials.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed profound grief over the incident and extended their deepest condolences to the families of the victims. They labeled the terrorist acts as heinous crimes against the state and emphasized that such acts are an affront to humanity.

The leaders of the National Assembly asserted that the government will address the menace of terrorism with a firm hand and those who target innocent civilians will face strict consequences. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq remarked that individuals involved in such barbaric acts are adversaries of humanity.

In their message, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker also offered prayers for the departed souls, asking for divine exaltation for the martyrs and fortitude for their families to endure this devastating loss.
