National Highways and Motorway Police will soon start issuing driving licenses in collaboration with National Database and Registration Authority

Islamabad, September 24, 2013 (PPI-OT): National Highways and Motorway Police (NH and MP) will soon start issuing driving licenses in collaboration with NADRA. In this regard, on 23rd September 2013, a detailed briefing was given Mr. Tariq Malik, Chairman NADRA to the Inspector General, NH and MP and senior officers at NH and MP Headquarters, Islamabad. Inspector General, NH and MP said that Motorway Police will issue driving licenses to only trained drivers. Entry to Motorways and Highways will be allowed only to licensed drivers. He also assured that NH and MP driving license will only be given to skilled and qualified drivers. On the occasion Mr. Tariq Malik, Chairman NADRA said that the driving license will be of International Standards and will include most excellent security features.
