National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has assumed Regional Chair Asia Pacific for 2024 of International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG).
In an official handover ceremony, New Zealand gracefully transferred the Regional Chairmanship to National Disaster Management Authority Pakistan.
The INSARAG, a United Nations global network, is committed to improving international coordination in urban search and rescue operations.
The NDMA aims for a proactive and collaborative approach to tackle dynamic disaster response challenges.
