New Business Centre Inaugurated at Peshawar’s Small Industries Estate

Peshawar, The Small Industries Estate in Peshawar witnessed the inauguration of a new Business Centre, a significant development in the region’s industrial landscape. Dr. Aamer Abdullah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Industries, Commerce, Technical Education, and Merged Districts’ Affairs, led the opening ceremony, As per a report on December 3.

According to Zameen.Com, the Business Centre, constructed at a cost of PKR 45 million, is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting the Small Industries Development Board’s (SIDB) revenue. The project is projected to generate millions of rupees monthly through its commercial activities, marking a notable stride in SIDB’s financial growth.

Located on Kohat Road within the Small Industries Estate, the Business Centre features display halls and showrooms, providing a platform for local manufacturers to showcase their products. The inauguration event was attended by key figures, including SIDB Managing Director Ghazanfar Ali, Deputy Managing Directors Sahibzada Zulfiqar and Noman Fayyaz, as well as other officers, officials, and employees.

In his address, Minister Abdullah highlighted the significance of the new centre and called for refinements in SIDB’s business model to ensure financial stability, growth, and modernization. His directive aligns with the broader objective of fostering economic development in the region, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement and expansion of facilities like the Business Centre.
