Nimir Resins Limited Completes Share Transmission as per Lahore High Court Order

Karachi, Nimir Resins Limited has announced the successful transmission of shares to various shareholders following the orders of the Honourable Lahore High Court. The court’s order dated January 17, 2024, in Civil Original No. 56465 of 2023, directed the transmission of shares of Nimir Resins Limited (NRSL) to the shareholders of Nimir Management (Pvt.) Limited in the respective proportions as outlined in the “Scheme of Arrangement” sanctioned by the court.

The details of the share transmission, which took place on January 25, 2024, are as follows: Zafar Mahmood, Khalid Mumtaz Qazi, Aamir Jamil, and Osman Hameed each received 29 shares. Muhammad Yahya Khan was transmitted 13,694,039 shares, Saeed uz Zaman 5,765,900 shares, and Nusrat Jamil 1,441,475 shares. Terranova Limited and Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited received 14,414,747 and 36,757,465 shares, respectively. The total number of shares transmitted amounted to 72,073,742.

All shares were transmitted electronically through the Central Depository Company (CDC), ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer process. This significant share transmission underlines the company’s adherence to legal and regulatory obligations and demonstrates its commitment to upholding shareholder rights and interests.
