NIT Pakistan Gateway ETF initiates rebalancing process following index changes

Karachi, NIT Pakistan Gateway ETF (NITGETF) has announced that it will begin the process of rebalancing its portfolio, following the recent rebalancing of the NIT Pakistan Gateway Index (NITPGI) effective from April 27, 2023. As a result, the dissemination of iNaV (indicative net asset value) will be temporarily suspended during the rebalancing period.

The rebalancing of the NITPGI is done twice a year to ensure that the index continues to represent the performance of the underlying market accurately. The portfolio rebalancing of NITGETF will involve buying or selling securities to align the portfolio with the new composition of the index. This process is expected to take some time, and the company has indicated that it will intimate the exchange once the portfolio is rebalanced.
