OGDCL Boosts Production at Kunnar-11 Well Using Advanced Recovery Techniques

Karachi: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced significant production increases at its Kunnar-11 well in Hyderabad district, Sindh, leveraging advanced technological methods to enhance output.

After implementing production optimization strategies and installing an Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), the Kunnar-11 well now yields an impressive 960 barrels of oil per day. This development is a part of OGDCL’s broader initiative to maximize the potential of existing resources within its 100% owned Kunnar Mining Lease Area.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this revitalization effort exemplifies OGDCL’s commitment to adopting modern recovery techniques to rejuvenate mature wells, ensuring sustained productivity and contributing to the national energy supply.

This update is provided in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations, underscoring the company’s adherence to transparency and regulatory guidelines.
