OGRA Announces Decrease in Petroleum Product Prices

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised down the consumer prices for motor spirit (petrol) and high-speed diesel (HSD), reflecting the latest shifts in the international market.

According to Press Information Department, the new prices will take effect from August 14, 2024. Petrol will be priced at Rs. 260.96 per liter, down from Rs. 269.43, and diesel will see a decrease to Rs. 266.07 per liter from Rs. 272.77. This adjustment marks a significant reduction as OGRA aligns local fuel costs with global oil price trends.
