Scholars belonging to different schools of thought called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore on Saturday.
On this occasion, the religious scholars reiterated full support to the government for the eradication of polio from the country.
They said that they stand shoulder to shoulder with the government for this national cause.
Sardar Usman Buzdar on the occasion said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only two countries of the world where Polio is still endemic.
He said that religious scholars have always played vital role for safeguarding the social and moral values.
He said that it is our mission to make Pakistan a Polio free country.
