Islamabad, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has called for stronger connections between academia and industry, specifically addressing the challenges and development goals within the veterinary sciences sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahsan Iqbal expressed these views while meeting with a delegation from the Animal Husbandry Committee and vice chancellors of veterinary colleges. The minister underscored the government’s commitment to addressing the issues faced by local veterinary institutes as a priority. He pointed out the major challenge of aligning educational curricula in the animal husbandry sector with the demands of the modern era, emphasizing the sector’s crucial role in achieving national development goals.
