Over Half a Million Illegal Afghan Nationals Repatriated

Islamabad, In a significant ongoing operation, Pakistan has repatriated 556,548 illegal Afghan nationals to Afghanistan, as part of efforts to regulate the presence of foreign nationals within its borders.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the process of repatriating illegal residents, primarily Afghans, to their home countries is an ongoing initiative by the Pakistani government. This action reflects Pakistan’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws and ensuring the legal residency of foreign nationals in the country.

The repatriation program is part of broader regional cooperation and adherence to international immigration protocols, aiming to maintain security and order within Pakistan’s borders while addressing the challenges of undocumented immigration.
