Pakistan Advocates for Equal Application of Chemical Weapons Convention

Islamabad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Ambassador Suljuk Mustansar Tarar has advocated for the comprehensive, equitable, and unbiased execution of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while addressing the Executive Council of the OPCW in The Hague, Ambassador Tarar highlighted Pakistan’s strong national framework for the adherence to the CWC and stressed the importance of its uniform application across all member states.

Ambassador Tarar also spoke on the dire situation in Gaza, urging for an immediate and unconditional cessation of hostilities. The call underscores Pakistan’s position on the need for peaceful resolution of conflicts and adherence to international conventions.
