Pakistan Affirms Support for Yemen’s National Reconciliation at OIC Summit

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, emphasized Pakistan’s support for national reconciliation and political transition in Yemen during discussions with Yemen’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zindani, at the 15th OIC Islamic Summit in Banjul.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the two ministers explored strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation in various sectors, including education. The talks also covered regional developments and the situation in Gaza, where they advocated for urgent international intervention to de-escalate tensions and called for the UN Security Council to take additional measures against Israel to secure an immediate ceasefire and a durable resolution to the Palestinian issue.
