Pakistan and Oman Reaffirm Ties in Eid Exchange Between Leaders

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman exchanged greetings on Eid ul Fitr, reaffirming the historical and cooperative ties between their nations and exploring potential for enhanced economic and institutional linkages.

According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister and the Sultan of Oman discussed the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries and considered avenues for deeper cooperation. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the importance of strengthening economic and institutional connections between the maritime neighbors and addressed regional issues, including the situation in Palestine.

The leaders expressed mutual goodwill and extended invitations for official visits, indicating a mutual desire to further cement the bilateral relationship and pursue economic collaboration.
