Pakistan and Qatar Renew Ties and Economic Commitment in Eid Call

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar exchanged Eid ul Fitr greetings in a recent phone call, reaffirming their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in economic and trade sectors.

According to Press Information Department, during the call, both leaders reflected on the half-century-long diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Qatar, expressing a mutual desire to enhance cooperation across various sectors. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s eagerness to deepen economic ties with Qatar. In response, the Amir of Qatar expressed his intention to visit Pakistan soon, reciprocating the warm Eid wishes and showing a keen interest in furthering the diplomatic and economic engagement between the two countries.

This conversation underscores a continued partnership, with both nations looking to expand their collaboration in mutually beneficial areas.
