Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Ties, Discuss Investment and Regional Stability

Riyadh, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud to discuss strengthening cooperation across various sectors and address regional issues, including the situation in Gaza. This meeting underscores the continuing robust relationship between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, the leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress on initiatives previously agreed upon in their earlier meeting in Makkah. They reviewed areas of mutual interest and agreed to enhance cooperation in different sectors. Prime Minister Sharif thanked the Crown Prince for the recent high-level delegation led by the Saudi Foreign Minister to Pakistan and for planning further delegations to promote investment.

The discussions also touched on international concerns, with the situation in Gaza coming to the fore, highlighting the geopolitical interests shared by both countries. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan, aiming to further solidify their bilateral relations.

The meeting also recognized Saudi Arabia’s hospitality and the comprehensive investment program presented by Saudi ministers, aiming to foster economic links and encourage Saudi investment in Pakistan.
