Pakistan and Tajikistan Leaders Discuss Strengthening Ties Ahead of SCO Summit

Islamabad: In a cordial telephonic exchange today, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon discussed ways to deepen their bilateral relations and reviewed the agenda for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Astana. The leaders exchanged Eid ul Adha greetings and expressed their commitment to further enhance cooperation across various sectors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders were pleased with the current trajectory of Pakistan-Tajikistan relations and discussed bolstering ties through increased trade, energy, and connectivity initiatives.
