Pakistan and The Gambia Strengthen Ties with New MoU at OIC Summit

Islamabad, During the 15th OIC Islamic Summit in Banjul, The Gambia, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in talks with Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of The Gambia. The leaders discussed enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting highlighted the longstanding relationship between the two nations, founded on shared values and mutual trust. An MoU on Bilateral Political Consultations was signed, aiming to bolster dialogue and cooperation. This agreement intends to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations and enhance collaboration in international forums such as the United Nations and the OIC.
