Islamabad, The Pakistan Army has initiated the fourth batch of its digital skills training program in South Waziristan, aimed at enhancing employment prospects for the region’s youth through specialized courses. This initiative reflects a significant effort to empower the young population with the digital competencies required in today’s job market.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the three-month program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes AutoCAD, video editing, freelancing, graphics designing, and creative writing. The initiative is designed to accommodate both male and female students, with seventy-seven participants from various parts of South Waziristan enrolled in the current batch.
This latest effort marks a continuation of the Pakistan Army’s commitment to fostering digital literacy and vocational skills among the youth of South Waziristan, a region seeking to overcome economic challenges and improve the socio-economic conditions of its inhabitants. To date, approximately one hundred and eighty young individuals have benefited from these courses, gaining valuable skills that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
The digital skills program underscores the importance of technological education in modern workforce development and represents a positive step toward integrating the youth of South Waziristan into the broader digital economy.
