Pakistan Army Reaffirms Commitment to Economic Development

Islamabad, In a significant address at the Green Pakistan Initiative Conference, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir pledged the Pakistan Army’s ongoing support for the country’s economic development, emphasizing the utilization of Pakistan’s robust human and natural resources.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir highlighted the nation’s resilience and industrious nature, which he described as essential for leveraging Pakistan’s potential in achieving greater national development. The conference, attended by key figures such as Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain, along with various civil and military officials, focused on enhancing Pakistan’s agricultural sector, identified as the backbone of the country’s economy.

The session concluded with the ministers applauding the Green Pakistan Initiative as a transformative movement for the country, pointing to agriculture as a critical sector that could lead Pakistan toward sustainable economic prosperity.
