Pakistan Army Vows Readiness to Counter Threats in Nationwide Exercise

Islamabad, In a striking demonstration of military might and preparedness, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, affirmed the armed forces’ readiness to defend the country’s sovereignty against any potential threats.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir expressed this commitment while engaging with troops participating in the Field Exercise “Shamsheer-e-Sehra” in a training area near Rahim Yar Khan. The exercise was designed to refine the military’s skills and procedures for contemporary battlefield challenges.

During the visit, the Army Chief observed integrated military operations, which showcased the cooperative maneuvers of various combat units, including Armour, Infantry, and Air Defence. Notably, the Pakistan Air Force contributed aerial support to the exercise, underlining the joint operational capabilities of the nation’s defense forces.
