Pakistan, Brazil agree to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest

Islamabad, June 23, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pakistan and Brazil have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. This understanding was reached during an interaction between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the side lines of New Global Financial Pact Summit in Paris.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Brazil at multilateral fora. The Prime Minister, on the occasion, also expressed the desire to learn from Brazil’s expertise in the agriculture sector. He said Pakistan wants to benefit from Brazil’s technological advancement in the field of agriculture.

Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated Brazil’s cooperation with Pakistan in various areas, including defence. The Brazilian President expressed best wishes for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan.
