Pakistan Dismisses Indian Allegations Regarding Bangladesh Political Developments

Islamabad: In a firm rebuttal, Pakistan has denied any involvement in the recent political developments in Bangladesh, countering accusations from Indian officials. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, addressing a weekly media briefing today, stated that the allegations reflect an “obsession” with Pakistan that pervades Indian politics and media.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Spokesperson Baloch emphasized that the unfounded claims are indicative of India’s tendency to attribute its internal and external policy shortcomings to Pakistan. She reaffirmed that Pakistan maintains positive and strengthening relations with Bangladesh, contrary to the divisive narrative being propagated by India.

Baloch reiterated Pakistan’s support for Bangladesh, expressing hope for the country’s quick recovery to normalcy and underscoring the Pakistani government’s solidarity with the Bangladeshi people during these challenging times. She praised the resilience and unity of the Bangladeshi people, which she believes will guide them towards a stable and harmonious future.

Additionally, the Spokesperson disclosed that Pakistan’s High Commissioner was present at the inauguration ceremony of Bangladesh’s new Prime Minister, signifying ongoing diplomatic engagement and support.
