Beijing, In a distinguished ceremony at the Embassy of Pakistan, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi conferred the prestigious civil award “Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam” upon Ambassador Luo Zhaohui, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), on behalf of the President of Pakistan.
According to Press Information Department, the award recognizes Ambassador Luo’s significant contributions to strengthening the China-Pakistan relationship. Ambassador Hashmi praised Luo as a “great friend of Pakistan,” highlighting his dedicated support to the Pakistani people and government throughout his diplomatic tenure. In his acceptance speech, Ambassador Luo expressed deep gratitude for the honor, reflecting on his strong connections with Pakistan, which he considers his “second home.”
The ceremony was well attended by dignitaries, senior officials, and media representatives from both countries, underscoring the deep ties between China and Pakistan and celebrating Ambassador Luo’s notable achievements in fostering bilateral cooperation.
