Karachi, Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) has announced the Notice of its 7th Annual General Meeting to be held on June 17, 2023. The Annual General Meeting will take place in Karachi, with provisions for video conferencing to facilitate wider participation.
The shareholders will discuss and vote on various important matters during the meeting. The first agenda item is the reception and adoption of the Audited Accounts for the year ended December 31, 2022, along with the reports from the Auditors and Directors.
The shareholders will also consider the appointment of External Auditors for the fiscal year 2023 and the determination of their remuneration. Another crucial item on the agenda is the review and approval of Directors’ Remuneration. The shareholders will have the opportunity to discuss and transact any other business under the chairperson’s discretion.
The Share Transfer Books will be closed from Friday, June 9, 2023, to Saturday, June 17, 2023, inclusive of both days. The closure of the Share Transfer Books implies that no share transfers will be processed during this period.
