Pakistan, Iran Agree to Advance Ongoing Agricultural Ties

Tehran: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to advance ongoing agricultural cooperation and implement decisions taken by the Joint Committee on Agriculture Cooperation. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and Iran’s Minister for Agriculture, Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh in Tehran.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was informed during the meeting that the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture will send a high-level delegation to Pakistan within the next two weeks. The delegation’s objective will be to finalize arrangements for the export of Pakistani corn to Iran.
