Pakistan Navy Honors Personnel with Military Awards in Karachi Ceremony

Karachi, In a significant event held at Karachi, the Pakistan Navy conducted an investiture ceremony to award military honors to its officers, sailors, and several civilians. The ceremony featured the conferral of high military awards and appreciation letters to distinguished individuals.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ceremony was attended by Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who served as the chief guest. During the event, four officers were decorated with the Sitar-e-Imtiaz (Military), while another four received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military). Additionally, the Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) was awarded to 104 chief petty officers and sailors, recognizing their commendable service.

The ceremony also included the presentation of appreciation letters from the Chief of Naval Staff to 44 individuals, encompassing officers, chief petty officers, sailors, and civilians, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the Navy. The event was well-attended by a large contingent of both serving and retired Navy personnel, reflecting the community’s strong support and acknowledgment of its members’ achievements.
