Pakistan Navy Ready to Defend Maritime Frontiers, Chief of Naval Staff Assures President

Islamabad, In a significant meeting today, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of Naval Staff, met with President Asif Ali Zardari to offer his congratulations on the latter’s recent assumption of the presidential office.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Naval Chief apprised President Zardari of the Pakistan Navy’s operational readiness and its vigilant stance in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests. He assured the President of the Navy’s robust capability to defend Pakistan’s sea boundaries against any challenges.

President Zardari, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the Pakistan Navy’s commitment and professionalism. He lauded the force for its role in ensuring the security of Pakistan’s maritime interests, which are crucial for the country’s economic and strategic stability.
