Pakistan Partners with UNICEF to Advance Youth Education and Training Opportunities

Islamabad, In a significant move to empower the nation’s youth, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme has entered into an agreement with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), focusing on providing equitable education and training opportunities.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the letter of intent was signed today in a ceremony in Islamabad, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in attendance. A UNICEF delegation, led by Representative in Pakistan Abdullah A. Fazil, earlier met with the Prime Minister to discuss this collaborative effort aimed at enhancing the skills and capacities of young Pakistanis.

Prime Minister Sharif lauded UNICEF’s global and local initiatives to improve the well-being of children and expressed gratitude for the organization’s commitment to supporting the development of Pakistan’s youth through this partnership.
