Brussels, The Pakistan Pavilion, organized by the Embassy of Pakistan, stood out at the annual International Festival hosted by the International School of Brussels, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and diversity of Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the festival featured over 100 countries, each presenting their unique cultures and traditions through distinctive displays. The Pakistan Pavilion showcased an array of Pakistani artifacts, handicrafts, traditional costumes, and photographs that highlighted the country’s rich heritage, tourism potential, and diverse culture. Additionally, the pavilion offered books and documentaries providing insights into Pakistan’s history and tourist attractions.
The highlight for many visitors was the traditional Pakistani street food available at the pavilion, including popular dishes like Biryani, Samosas, Gulab Jamun, and special Pakistani chai. The pavilion also featured a Henna corner, where visitors could get intricate designs, enhancing their cultural experience.
Sports items made in Pakistan, such as footballs and cricket kits, also drew significant attention, especially with children and parents eager to take photos with a World Cup Football displayed at the stall.
Ambassador Amna Baloch expressed that the International Festival is an excellent platform for showcasing Pakistan’s cultural wealth and hospitality. The visitors’ enthusiastic response to the Pakistani cuisine and the beautifully crafted artifacts underscored the pavilion’s success at the festival.
