PAKISTAN STATE OIL ANNOUNCES NEW ACTING COMPANY SECRETARY

Karachi: Pakistan State Oil Company Limited has announced a change in its executive team, with Ms. Ambreen Ali appointed as the Acting Company Secretary effective 19 August 2024.

This management shift follows the retirement of Mr. Rashid Umer Siddiqui, who served as the Company Secretary until he reached the age of superannuation. Ms. Ali’s appointment marks a continuation of leadership as the company moves forward.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transition is part of the normal corporate governance process, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities within Pakistan State Oil. This development has been communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange, aligning with regulatory practices and transparency expectations.

Ms. Ali brings a wealth of experience to her new role, and her appointment is expected to maintain the company’s strategic direction and strengthen its corporate affairs.
