Pakistan, UAE sign MoU for outsourcing operations of KPT cargo terminal

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for outsourcing the operations of bulk and general cargo terminal at East Wharf Karachi Port.

Under the MoU, the operations will be outsourced at seven berths of the port.

The MoU signed between Karachi Port Trust, Pakistan and Abu Dhabi Ports Group, UAE aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in marine and logistic sectors.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar witnessed the signing of MoU and expressed satisfaction over the growth of exchanges, interaction and cooperation between businesses in Pakistan and the UAE.
