Pakistan-Uzbekistan Trade Bolstered by Made in Pakistan Exhibition in Tashkent

Tashkent: The National Logistic Corporation (NLC) hosted the Made in Pakistan exhibition in Uzbekistan’s capital, drawing significant participation from over eighty logistics companies. This three-day event facilitated deep engagement between government and business leaders from Pakistan and Uzbekistan, underscoring the burgeoning trade relations between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The exhibition provided a platform for participants to explore enhanced cross-border transportation solutions offered by NLC. The Director General of NLC presented a crucial paper on End-to-End Multimodal Logistics, aimed at boosting regional trade through improved logistic services. Furthermore, during the event, NLC conducted targeted business-to-business meetings with Uzbek authorities, culminating in a $40 million memorandum of understanding signed with the government of Bukhara.

Additionally, a pivotal meeting occurred between the Head of International Investment and Export of the Uzbekistan Textile Industry Association and the Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. These discussions emphasized the critical role of efficient transportation services in the success of regional markets.
