Pakistan Vows Justice for Besham Attack, Engages with Chinese Investigators, Islamabad

Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has pledged to ensure justice for the victims of the Besham terrorist attack, emphasizing the government’s commitment during discussions with a special Chinese investigation team in Islamabad. The meeting, focused on the progress of the ongoing investigation and security measures for Chinese nationals, underscores the bilateral effort to address the aftermath of the incident.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Naqvi briefed the Chinese investigation team at the Chinese Embassy about the advancements in the probe into the Besham attack. The dialogue covered not only the investigative strides but also the broader security protocols being reinforced to protect Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

The Interior Minister’s engagement with the Chinese Ambassador further highlighted the concerted efforts to transparently communicate the steps being taken by Pakistani authorities in response to the attack, affirming the strong cooperation between Pakistan and China in combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of foreign nationals.
