Pakistan welcomes resumption of CASA-1000 power line in Afghanistan by World Bank

Pakistan has welcomed the resumption of CASA-1000 activities in Afghanistan by the World Bank.

The request of the resumption of work on CASA-1000 was placed in December last year by all three neighboring countries participating in the project.

CASA-1000 is a 1.2 billion dollars regional project to evacuate clean energy from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan via Afghanistan.
