Pakistani Currency Fluctuates Modestly Against Major Currencies

Karachi: The Pakistani Rupee witnessed slight fluctuations against major currencies in the foreign exchange market over the last two days, as detailed in the latest rates released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on October 28, the buying rate for the US Dollar stood at 276.71 with the selling rate at 278.63, while by October 29, it shifted marginally to a buying rate of 276.81 and a selling rate of 278.66. Similar modest changes were observed with the Euro, which started at a buying rate of 297.85 and a selling rate of 300.57 on October 28, and adjusted to 297.84 and 300.55 respectively the following day.

The British Pound increased slightly from a buying rate of 357.50 and a selling rate of 360.82 on October 28, to a buying rate of 357.91 and a selling rate of 361.16 on October 29. The Japanese Yen and the currencies from the United Arab Emirates (AED) and Saudi Arabia (SR) also showed minimal but noticeable changes in their exchange rates.

The Interbank rate for the US Dollar saw a slight rise from 277.68 to 277.88 on October 28, and increased to 277.74 to 277.94 on October 29, reflecting subtle yet ongoing adjustments in the market.

These currency rate movements indicate a relatively stable exchange environment, with only slight variations in rates against a backdrop of global economic dynamics.
