Pakistani Leaders Condemn Assassination Attempt on Former U.S. President Donald Trump

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have publicly condemned the recent assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump, expressing solidarity and calling for a peaceful political environment.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders issued statements praying for Donald Trump’s swift recovery and extending their condolences for the lives lost in the incident. They emphasized that violence has no place in politics. Additionally, Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, also denounced the attack, which occurred at a rally in Pennsylvania, and echoed the sentiments of the President and Prime Minister by praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
