Pakistan’s 84th National Day Celebrated in Singapore

Singapore, The High Commission of Pakistan in Singapore conducted a flag hoisting ceremony at Pakistan House today, marking the 84th National Day of Pakistan with the participation of High Commission staff and notable members of the Pakistani community in Singapore. High Commissioner Ms. Rukhsana Afzaal led the ceremony with the national anthem and hoisted the national flag, underscoring the historical significance of the day.

According to Press Information Department, the event featured the reading of messages from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan by Press Counsellor Mr. Ather Zeb Abbasi and Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Salman Mahmood, highlighting the aspirations and achievements of the nation since its inception. The ceremony culminated in collective prayers for Pakistan’s security, stability, and prosperity, reflecting on the founding fathers’ vision for the country. The observance in Singapore not only commemorated the national day but also reinforced the Pakistani community’s connection to their homeland’s values and aspirations.
