Pakistan’s Prime Minister Mourns Passing of Saudi Prince and Poet Badr Bin Abdul Mohsen

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif extended his deep condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Saudi Arabia following the death of Prince Badr Bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, a prominent Saudi poet. The Prime Minister expressed his sentiments through a statement on the social media platform X, reflecting on the Prince’s significant cultural contributions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif praised Prince Badr’s impactful work in poetry, particularly highlighting his popular song celebrated during Saudi Arabia’s National Day, which exemplifies his deep love for his country. The Prime Minister remarked on the Prince’s remarkable contributions to contemporary poetry in the Arabian Peninsula, noting that his legacy is expected to inspire future generations.
