Karachi, Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited “A” (PIAA) has disclosed a troubling earnings per share (EPS) of -9.57 for the year ending December 2022. Despite a significant trading volume of 779,993,000 units, the national carrier failed to declare any dividends, highlighting the severe challenges it faces in the aviation sector. With a substantial paid-up capital of Rs. 52,337.61 million, PIA’s performance reflects broader industry struggles, marked by a stock price fluctuation from 12.39 to 6.8.
