Pilgrims transport from Makkah to Mina will commence from tonight

The operation to transport pilgrims from the holy city of Makkah to Mina will commence from tonight.

Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Javed Iqbal reports from Makkah that over three million Muslims from across the world will start their sacred journey towards Mina from tonight.

Pakistan Hajj Mission has completed the preparations to shift pilgrims in the tent valley of Mina.

The departure time of busses which varies according to the sector and building locations, has already been conveyed to all Pakistani pilgrims.

From sunrise, the Pakistani pilgrims were found busy in making preparations for Mina move.

After spending tomorrow’s day and night in the tent valley, pilgrims will head to Mount Arafat.

Most of the Pakistani pilgrims will prefer going Arafat by train as first time in the history around 63 percent Pakistanis have been allotted tents near train route.

The remaining pilgrims will embark on their sacred journey to Arafat by busses or by foot.

Pakistan Hajj Mission has urged the pilgrims to follow their scheduled departure to avoid the dangers caused by overcrowding and hot weather conditions.
