PM expresses deep gratitude to KSA for depositing $2b with SBP

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his deep gratitude to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for depositing two billion dollars with the State Bank of Pakistan.

In a tweet on Tuesday, he especially thanked Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Salman for ensuring this financial support to Pakistan. He said this deposit will strengthen Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves.

The Prime Minister said it reflects the growing confidence of our brotherly countries and the international community in Pakistan’s economic turnaround. He said the government remains committed to making all necessary efforts to improve Pakistan’s economy.

Shehbaz Sharif also thanked Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Army Chief General Asim Munir for the valuable efforts they made in this regard.
