PM Shehbaz Sharif Extends Eid Greetings to Pakistan’s Military Leadership

Islamabad, In a significant gesture on Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached out to Pakistan’s military leadership, conveying festive greetings and acknowledging their contributions to national security.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, PM Sharif made phone calls to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Siddhu, and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf to express his Eid wishes. During these conversations, he praised the efforts of the security forces in protecting the country’s borders and countering threats.

The Prime Minister lauded the military personnel’s dedication and leadership in maintaining Pakistan’s sovereignty and security, also paying tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs and their families in service of the nation.
