PM Shehbaz Sharif Welcomes Imam of Masjid Al-Nabawi, Cites Strengthened Saudi-Pakistani Ties

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has hailed the visit of Imam Masjid Al-Nabawi Dr. Salah Mohammad Al-Budair as a significant honor for Pakistan, expressing that it symbolizes and further solidifies the strong bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting in Lahore, PM Sharif emphasized that the visit by Imam Al-Budair not only represents a gesture of goodwill but also reinforces the longstanding friendship and mutual support between the two nations, particularly in challenging times.

The Prime Minister extended his good wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, reflecting the deep-rooted ties shared between the leaderships. In return, Imam Al-Budair conveyed the good wishes of King Salman and the Saudi leadership to the Prime Minister, symbolizing the reciprocal respect and regard between the two countries.
