PML-N greeted over winning general polls in Pakistan

Srinagar, May 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Awami Action Committee has congratulated PML-N President, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for winning general elections in Pakistan. The Awami Action Committee in a meeting held at the Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar said that the new government in Pakistan under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmir cause.

The participants of the meeting expressed the hope that the PML-N government in Pakistan would also take serious and sincere steps for settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute.

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz Jammu and Kashmir, Yasmeen Raja and the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Jammu and Kashmir, Aasiya Andrabi in their separate statement issued in Srinagar congratulated Nawaz Sharif and other party leaders for securing majority seats in the general elections.

They hoped that the new government would take all steps for resolution of Kashmir dispute.

Other Hurriyet leaders, including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Zafar Akbar Butt, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Muhammad Azam Inqilabi, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Javed Ahmad Mir, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League leader, Muhammad Altaf Khan and Hizbul Mujahideen supreme commander Syed Salahuddin welcoming the PML-N victory in general polls, said that its government in Pakistan would utilize all available resources for settlement of long-pending Kashmir dispute.
