PM’s School Meals program being started in ICT from Monday

Under Prime Minister’s School Meals program, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training will start providing meal to the students of government Primary school of ICT from Monday.

According to the Education Ministry, Prime Minister’s National Nutrition Initiative is utilizing state of the art Centralized Kitchen for cooking of 60,000 meals using the fireless technology.

With the utilization of steam cooking technology, the cooking team cooks food for the students of FDE.

Around 217 schools in food grade cooking utensils which are then loaded in insulated containers and dispatched for delivery to schools in customized vehicles.
