Karachi, May 09, 2012 (PPI-OT): We would like to inform you that the shareholders of Sigma Leasing Corporation Limited (SIGL) in the Extraordinary General Meeting held on May 8, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the registered office have decided to surrender the leasing license and have passed the following special resolution.

“Resolved That the Company be and is hereby authorised to surrender its Non Banking Finance Company (leasing business) license to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan subject to completion of any formalities or conditions for such surrender under applicable law and discontinue leasing business”.
