PPMA Delegation Calls on Chairman FBR

Islamabad, July 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) called upon the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Mr. Asim Ahmad at FBR HQs. The delegation was led by Chairman PPMA Syed Farooq Bukhari and included PPMA members as well as ex-Chairman of the Association. The meeting was also attended by Member IR-Policy FBR Mr. Afaq Ahmad Qureshi.

The delegation discussed the issues related to sales tax regime governing the pharma sector and invited Chairman FBR to attend the Pharma Export Seminar on 12th July. Several other operational issues were also discussed during the meeting. The Chairman FBR assured the delegation of all possible support for resolution of issues being faced by the Pharma industry.
