President Emphasizes Efficient Water Management for Sindh

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has stressed the need for efficient use of water to meet the needs of Sindh province. He was speaking with Sindh Minister of Irrigation, Jam Khan Shoro, who met him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Jam Khan Shoro briefed the President on the irrigation sector and various ongoing schemes in Sindh province. President Asif Ali Zardari highlighted the importance of wise management of water resources to ensure water availability for all sectors, including agriculture in Sindh.

The President emphasized the necessity of improving and developing Sindh’s agricultural sector and irrigation network further. The meeting underscored the critical role of sustainable water management in supporting the region’s agricultural productivity and overall development objectives.
